On 28th September 2024, the Department of Agriculture organized an exposure visit for 4th-year (RAWE) students to Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Dhar. During the visit, students were informed about the future challenges in agriculture. Dr. S.S. Chauhan, Head of KVK and a Soil Scientist, provided insights into Soil Science and discussed soil sampling techniques.
Agricultural Scientist Dr. G.S. Gathiya shared information about advanced Agricultural technologies and emphasized the importance of natural farming. Horticulturist Dr. D.S. Mandloi also led a tour of various units, including the poultry unit, goat rearing unit, vermicompost unit, polyhouse, crop cafeteria, and organic unit, offering valuable information on horticultural crops. The visit was organized under the coordination of Dr. Shivpal Singh (RAWE Coordinator), Prof. Rajul Soni (RAWE Co-coordinator), Prof. Jinendra Birla, and Prof. Vishal Sarsaiya.
