Awareness Workshop on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (POSH) Act, 2023.

(12th Aug 2024) an enlightening awareness workshop was conducted on "Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (POSH) Act, 2013." The workshop was aimed to educate and sensitize corporate participants about the provisions and implementation of the POSH Act, fostering a safer and more inclusive workplace environment. The workshop was graced by esteemed dignitaries and key personnel including our hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. D. K. Patnaik, hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. D. K. Panda, Dr. Rekha Jain, Chairperson of the Gender Sensitisation Cell, Medicaps University.

Mr. Jay Srivastava, Assistant Director (Child and Women Development), Collector office, Indore, we're present in the workshop. The workshop featured a panel of distinguished speakers having Mr. Hriday Narayan Pandey, Consultant MSME-TDC, Meerut, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Dr. Chandra Deep Yadav, Head, Department of Criminology, PM Collegeof Excellence Government Madhav College, Ujjain (M.P.) and Ms. Kirti Patwardhan, Advocate On Record, Supreme Court of India, A Certified Trainer Under POSH Act 2013 who delivered a comprehensive session on the legal aspects of the POSH Act, including procedural requirements, the role of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), and case studies illustrating the implementation of the Act.
