The Department of Forensic Science at Medicaps University celebrated *National Forensic Science Day* on 23rd September 2024. The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Hon'ble Vice Chancellor *Dr. D. K. Patnaik, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor **Dr. D. K. Panda, respected Dean of Science **Dr. A. A. Koser, respected Registrar, and Chief Guest **Dr. Varun Kapoor, IPS, Special DGP of Madhya Pradesh. **Dr. Indra Pratap Singh*, Joint Director of RFSL Indore, was the Guest Speaker.
Convener *Prof. Anand Kar emphasized the importance of forensic science and technological advancements in law enforcement. Dr. Varun Kapoor’s expert talk on "Cyber Defense: Protecting Your Digital Life" discussed the growing cyber threats, while Dr. Indra Pratap Singh highlighted the role of forensic science in the justice system. The morning session concluded with a Poster and Model Competition, judged by **Dr. Mythily S. *Dr. Anjali Soni, and **Dr. Rinku Verma*, who provided valuable feedback to the students.
