Educational field visit to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Dhar of fourth-year RAWE students.
The Faculty of Agriculture organized an educational field visit to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Dhar for fourth-year RAWE students. During the visit, students gained insights into the various functions and objectives of KVK. They had the opportunity to explore the vermicompost unit, azolla unit, goatery unit, and hatching unit, all of which were related to animal husbandry and agriculture technology. Additionally, students visited the demonstration field of KVK's orchard and horticultural farm under the guidance of S.S. Chauhan, soil scientist, KVK, Dhar.
The students also attended lectures on agronomy, soil science, horticulture, and agricultural technology pertaining to organic farming. This insightful visit was coordinated by Prof. Upasna Mishra, the RAWE Coordinator, and was facilitated by Dr. Suhana Puri Goswami, Dr. Aaradhna Patel, Prof. Teena Patidar, and Prof. Somil Singh Chouhan.
