Dr. Mishra is an alumnus of National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He did his Masters in Engineering Materials Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal. Dr. Mishra has contributed 5 book chapters in various books published by international publishers like Wiley, Springer, Elsevier. He is the life Member of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) and also the Executive Working Committee member of QCFI, Bhilai Chapter. He has received Best Paper Award in International Conference on Advances in Materials Processing & Manufacturing Applications (iCADMA 2020) organised by NIT Jaipur on 5th-6th November 2020.Dr. Mishra has received Par excellence award case study presentations during National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC 2018), and Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC 2018, CCQC 2017).
He was also the Expert Committee Member for upgradation of Govt. ITI, Singrauli by establishing a Centre of Excellence in collaboration with Northern Coalfield Limited, 21st ? 23rd January 2020
