Dr. Vipin Sharma is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Medicaps University, Indore. He is Doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) and M.Tech. specialization in Materials Engineering (Gold Medalist) from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He is also recipient of DST-INSPIRE fellowship from Govt. of India in 2012. He served as a faculty in premier institutes and had teaching experience of more than 12 years. His research interests include manufacturing, automation, nanotechnology, renewable energy and biomaterials. He has more than 40 peer reviewed research papers in his credit and more than 16 patents are granted. He also authored/co-authored six book chapters and three books on subjects of engineering domain. He is life member of several professional societies.
