Dr. Sonu Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Medicaps University, Indore. He received a B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Patna; an M. Tech degree in Renewable Energy from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) at CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC), Chennai; and a Ph.D in Engineering from AcSIR, CSIR-SERC, Chennai. He did Post Doctoral Studies from the Dept. of ECE, KL University, Vijayawada. He also received Honorary D.Sc from Central University of America. Previously, he worked as Assistant Professor at KSRM College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kadapa. He also worked as Associate Professor at PIE Education and FIITJEE, New Delhi. He has published 21 Journal papers and presented papers in 50+ international and national conferences. He has filed 14 Patents, 19 Designs and 2 Copyrights. He has Authored / Edited 13 Books and 19 Book Chapters. He is acting as a Reviewer for 12 Journals and Editorial Board Member for 4 Journals. His areas of interest are renewable energy, power systems, IoT, and AI/ML.
