I had a doctoral degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics. I have served as Professor and Head, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, College of Agriculture, Indore, for 13 years and as Head AICRP on Safflower. I have published 21 research articles and participated in 19 national and international seminars. I had been honoured as fellow by Indian Society of Genetics and Plant breeding, Indian Society of Pulse Research and Development and Indian society of Oil seeds Research. I have been the paper setter of Genetics in ASRB, New Delhi. On September 2019, I released a variety RVS14-1 of Sunflower, which is having highest iron content (40%) among all the varieties (1st time in India).
