Mr. Deepak Porwal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering at Medicaps University, Indore, India. He is pursuing World Bank assisted (TEQIP-III project sponsored) Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur with specialization in Renewable Energy Integration and use of Artificial Intelligence. He received bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Ujjain (now UEC, Ujjain), Madhya Pradesh in the year 2013 and then received master degree in the stream of Integrated Power Systems from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in 2015. He is lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He is also member of Institute of Engineering and Technology, (IET). He has more than 7 years of experience in the field of academic, administration and published more than 15 papers in reputed journals and conferences. His research interests include Electrical Power Systems, Renewable Energy Integration, Volt-VAr optimization, distributed generation, use of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
