Dr. Ankit Soni received his M.Sc. (Physics) and M.Tech. (Laser Science & Applications) degrees from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore. He did his PhD in Physics from IIT Indore. He received international travel support from SERB for presenting his research work at the international conference held at the University of California, Los Angeles. After his PhD, he worked as a Project Scientist at IIT Delhi. He also received a National Postdoctoral Fellowship and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IISER Bhopal. He has authored over 13 SCI/SCOPUS-indexed research papers, including international journals and conferences. He is a reviewer of journal publishers like IoP, Springer, Elsevier, etc. His research interests include thin films, multilayers, and nanostructures of functional materials, UV-photodetectors, RHEED, and Pulsed Laser Deposition.
