Dr. Anita Thakur , Professor of practice, Dept. of Languages, is MA and M.Phil in English Literature and Ph. D in American Literature. Has Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of English Language from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Has more than 27 years of teaching and corporate experience and expertise in implementing and developing educational tools in classroom and language laboratories. Has ability to research and review new teaching material and techniques with focus on quantitative and qualitative elements. Her primary research areas of interest include shifting paradigms in education, radical changes in culture and pedagogical study in communicative English. She has published and presented more than 29 research papers in Journals of National and International repute. She is recruited by Canadian Centre for Science and Education, Canada as reviewer and editor for International research journals. She is a recipient of 2nd prize winner in a National level Contest on ?How to Teach Easily? organized for college teachers by the department of Indian Studies, Malaya University, Malaysia and Anuragam Publishers, Chennai.
