The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Medicaps University serves as a pivotal body to ensure the consistent maintenance and enhancement of academic and administrative quality. Established as a post-accreditation initiative recommended by NAAC, IQAC is committed to institutionalizing a culture of excellence by aligning with quality benchmarks in higher education.
Through a structured approach, the IQAC focuses on key aspects such as promoting research initiatives, refining pedagogical practices, fostering transparent communication, and systematically recording academic and administrative improvements. By leveraging feedback mechanisms and analytics, it ensures evidence-based decision-making and continuous progress in quality assurance.

- To arrange for periodic assessment and accreditation of institutions of higher education or units thereof, or specific academic programs or projects.
- To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching- learning education.
- To encourage self-evaluation, accountability, autonomy, and innovations in higher education.
- To undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programs.
- To collaborate with other stakeholders of higher education for quality evaluation,promotion, and sustenance.

Key Role And Functions Of IQAC
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of theUniversity.
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
- Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
- Documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
- Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Development and maintenance of institutional databases through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
- Development of Quality Culture in the University.
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
- The relevance and quality of academic and research programs
- Equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for various sections of society.
- Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
- The credibility of evaluation procedures.
- Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services.

Composition
