IQAC team of Parul University, Vadodara visited our campus today on June 28, 2024. The team consisted of 5 members including Director IQAC, Dr. Falguni Acharya and speaker of the session on "Understanding IPR: Safeguarding Innovation and Creativity" delivered by the team, Dr. Dadi Mohsin.
The visit began with the above-mentioned session that took place at Major Auditorium from 09:45 hrs to 11:30 hrs. Hon'ble PVC Dr. Panda welcomed the guests and set the tone by giving his insights about IPR in a lucid way. The speaker explained all the types of IPR like patents, trademarks etc. All enjoyed, learnt a lot from the session and actively participated in the quiz that was conducted at the end of the session. Dr. Falguni also addressed the audience about the association of Parul and Medicaps University and praised our hospitality. A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. A.A. Koser.
After the sessions the team visited MII Foundation, MIIC, TEC, Central Instrumentation Centre, office of DoRA, Central Library, Admissions office, CDC, Placement cell, OIA, Alumni cell, IPR cell etc. The team appreciated our facilities & processes and also gave some constructive feedback about the scope of improvement. It also learnt a few traits from us and looked keen to implement them at their place. The visit ended with the team meeting and sharing knowledge with the Registrar followed by Director Branding & Promotion Saloni ma'am.
The Office of the Registrar made necessary arrangements of the visit. IQAC scheduled and coordinated the whole event.
Tomorrow morning the team will meet Hon'ble VC sir and PVC sir. Then we will see them off.
