Outcome Based Education

event

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Outcome Based Education" from September 30 to October 5, 2024, aimed at enhancing the skills of faculty members and improving the teaching-learning environment at our university.

The program featured two sessions each day over five days, with an average attendance of around 300 faculty members daily.

The valedictory function took place this morning (October 5, 2024) in the esteemed presence of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor. Both leaders motivated faculty members and commended the IQAC team for its ongoing commitment to quality improvement. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor announced that the top 10 and next 10 performers from the regular quiz assessments would be designated as torchbearers, recognized as level 1 and level 2 trainers, respectively. The Hon'ble Pro Vice-Chancellor emphasized that organizing this event is just one milestone in our journey toward excellence, with many more programs planned to support faculty development. They encouraged faculty members to embrace this journey, highlighting that improvements in teaching quality would enhance their respect among students and society.

Several attendees shared valuable feedback, expressing their appreciation for the insights gained about Outcome Based Education and thanking the speakers.

The FDP was led by Director of IQAC Dr. A.A. Koser and Coordinator of IQAC Dr. Saurabh Jain, providing participants with practical, hands-on knowledge of an outcome-based teaching-learning environment. The ceremony began with Dr. Koser summarizing the key highlights from the five-day program.
