Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized two sessions to create awareness amongst the faculty members about the accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) on June 26, 2024, at the seminar hall (Q- Block) from 10:30 to 12:00 hrs and from 14:30 to 16:00 hrs.
Hon'ble PVC Dr. D.K. Panda spoke about the importance of NBA accreditation. Director IQAC A. A. Koser delivered the inaugural address. Dr. Saurabh Jain, coordinator IQAC conducted the sessions.
Attendees were sensitized about similarities & differences between NAAC & NBA. The sessions covered information about types & nature of NBA accreditation, emphasis of NBA on Outcome Based Education (OBE), Self-Assessment Report (SAR), additional documentary evidence & processes required, pre-qualifiers etc.
Faculty members actively participated and contributed to the spirited discussions. The sessions were well received. Around 200 faculty members attended the session.Those sessions marked the formal beginning of our work for getting NBA accreditation.
