Serving as the heartbeat of incubation at Medicaps University, MII Foundation is a Section-8 company dedicated to nurturing innovation. Located in a sprawling 10,000 sq.ft. facility, the foundation houses:

E-Cell
Medicaps University’s E-Cell (Entrepreneurship Cell) was initially launched in 2008 under the Centre of Entrepreneurship Development and has since grown into a fully independent student club. With over 50 active student members, E-Cell organizes events, competitions, and hands-on training to help students develop industrial acumen and creative problem-solving skills.
Mission: To develop resilient entrepreneurs equipped to tackle industrial challenges and nurture innovative thinking.

Technology Enabling Centre (TEC)
Established in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Technology Enabling Centre (TEC) at Medicaps University is one of only 22 such centers across India. TEC plays a crucial role in advancing technological solutions for the manufacturing sector, collaborating closely with industries, institutions, and national laboratories.
Key Features of TEC
- Acts as a launchpad for problem-solving, prototype development, and technology transfer.
- Provides a collaborative research platform between academia and industry.
- Actively raises awareness among local industries about innovative practices and technological advancements.
TEC at Medicaps has been instrumental in connecting local industries with the latest technological advancements. For example, in June 2023, TEC hosted a CEO Conclave attended by 42 prominent CEOs and Managing Directors, which identified 13 new industrial challenges. TEC and MII Foundation are now collaboratively developing solutions for these issues, setting a high benchmark for innovation in the region.

- Publishing Newsletters and Bulletins to update the community on the latest advancements and TEC’s impact.
- Working on technology assessments and upgrades, especially for MSMEs, ensuring local industries stay ahead of the curve.
Student-Led Innovation Bodies
E-Cell and TEC work closely with students to foster creativity and entrepreneurship at Medicaps University. Our programs include hackathons, pitch competitions, and networking sessions with industry veterans, giving students the chance to take their ideas beyond the classroom.

Institute’s Innovation Council (IIC)
Established under the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), our Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) encourages students to innovate and build prototypes during their educational journey. The council is dedicated to nurturing a local innovation ecosystem, supporting start-ups, and enhancing students’ cognitive abilities.
About Medicaps IIC
Launched in 2018, Medicaps IIC focuses on spreading awareness about innovation, start-ups, and entrepreneurship. Our IIC conducts various workshops and events to help students understand the significance of venture creation. The council includes 12 faculty members dedicated to creating an innovation-friendly environment.

- Organize workshops, seminars, and interactions with industry leaders.
- Conduct hackathons, idea competitions, and mini-challenges with industrial partnerships.
- Showcase innovation projects by faculty and students on an institutional portal.
