Department of Agriculture

The Department of Agriculture at Medicaps University was established in 2018 with a focus on imparting higher education under the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and competitive faculty, following the course curriculum defined by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

The department aims to attract the best talent to agricultural education to contribute to job creation, food security, employment, and environment security.

Mission
  • To impart technical education in Agriculture and allied sciences.
  • To undertake basic, applied, strategic and anticipatory research for generating new knowledge and technology in Agriculture.
  • To disseminate the innovative agro techniques for improving productivity of crops and upliftment of the socio-economic status of farmers community.
  • To develop human resource in agriculture and promote agri-entrepreneurship.
