Medicaps University established the Faculty of Agriculture in 2018, offering a four-year undergraduate program in B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture.
The program involves the study of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, including soil science, water resource management, and crop production, among other subjects. The department focuses on providing industry-oriented training and live projects/internships to bridge the industry-academia gap. Graduates of the program can find employment in both public and private sectors with job profiles such as agriculture officer, research scientist, and marketing executive.

Welcome to the Faculty of Agriculture at Medicaps University in Indore. It is a great honor for us to be a part of such a prestigious university that is renowned for its discipline, academic excellence, dedicated faculty, and motivated students. As a primarily agrarian country, agriculture is the main source of livelihood for over 80% of the rural population in India. To sustain and diversify this vital sector, skilled and innovative agricultural graduates are needed. Agricultural education is key to the prosperity of the nation, and there is a substantial gap between the demand and supply of skilled manpower, with a very low Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of 0.3 in agriculture. However, the return on investment in agricultural education is high, with no recession or slowdown. To address this gap, Medicaps University has established a Faculty of Agriculture with the aim of providing students with subject competency, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and agri-business skills.
