Overview
At Medicaps University, the examination process is designed as a continuous evaluation system, comprising both internal assessments and End Semester Examinations. Each academic year is divided into two semesters: the Odd Semester (August to December) and the Even Semester (January to June).
During each semester, students’ performance in theoretical courses is assessed based on conduct, assignments, quizzes, Mid Semester Tests, while practical courses are evaluated on conduct, lab work, and viva-voce. End Semester Examinations are held for both theory and practical subjects. The Mid Semester Tests and End Semester Exams are conducted transparently, adhering to the dates specified in the academic calendar. Mid Semester answer sheets are evaluated and returned to students within a week, while End Semester answer sheets are assessed and shown during the copy viewing session. Results are published within a month and made accessible on students’ ERP login.

The University Calendar ensures that students are well-informed about the critical academic dates, which enables them to plan their time efficiently and stay on track with their coursework. The calendar is available on the university website, and students can access it at any time to stay up-to-date with the latest information.

Transparent Examination System At Medicaps University
Medicaps University upholds a fair and transparent examination system, ensuring both academic integrity and impartiality. Student answer copies undergo thorough evaluation by seasoned faculty, adhering to a strict assessment process.
Post-evaluation, answer sheets are accessible to students. The viewing process starts the day after all program exams conclude. Students are seated according to their enrollment numbers in a CCTV-monitored room, without access to items like pens, pencils, or mobile devices. The course instructor displays the answer sheets under the close supervision of a permanent invigilator.
For any concerns, students can submit a grievance form to the course instructor. The course expert addresses these grievances and forwards the annotated answer copy to the Controller of Examinations for review. The Controller then assesses each case and suggests necessary marking adjustments, which are sent to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor for approval.
