Blood Donation Camp

Blood donation camp was organized on 29th May, 2023 in university campus by the Socio eco club in collaboration with M.Y. hospital Indore and Collectorate on the occasion of Indore Gaurav Divas.

The event started at 9 AM by a short inaugural function where the team of the doctors from M.Y. Hospital, Dr. D.K. Patnaik (Vice chancellor Medi-caps University) and Virendra Chouhan Sir were present. Then instructions were given to all the Socio-Eco club volunteers by the doctors on how the volunteers can help them. Around 150 volunteers came forward to make the blood donation camp successful and 121 units of blood were collected. Also, a team from Balaji wafers came forward to be a part of this campaign. After the donation the donors were provided with fruits and juices in order to re-energize themselves. Also, a feedback desk was present on which the donors wrote about their experiences from the blood donation camp. After donating blood, all the donors were honored with a certificate. At last respected Program Officer Sir Dr. P. Hari Krishna resented the doctors with momentous and flowers and a small photo session was arranged.

A Techno-Cultural and Techno-Management fest Moonstone 2K23 has been organized from 6th to 8th April in central India’s most proficient academic division; Medicaps University. The University is blessed with the techno-minds and esthetic hearts which are always eager to explore and experiment. The zeal and passion for the fest; especially for the inaugural ceremony on 6 April on the cricket ground was extraordinarily remarkable. It was festooned with the parade of NSS cadets and representation of all clubs. The benign presence of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Dilip.K. Patnaik along with dignitaries, Deans, HoDs and staff members and students were present on that occasion. The celebration started with the Medi-Caps Anthem. A Formal floral welcome of all guests and dignitaries was followed by lighting the torch of sportsmanship and team spirit by the honorable Vice Chancellor and the fest was announced “open”. The torch was carried out by the head of Medi-Caps University Athletics and Sports Association (MAASA). The program was adorned with a captivating performance of Bharatnatyam which was adding an artistic flavor to the techno fest. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dilip.K Patnaik acclaimed faculties effort, students efforts and wished the fest to be a memorable event for Medicapsians.
With Moonstone, a new journey started with popular technical happenings and lots of new cultural and literary proceedings. The campus was decorated exquisitely with the nuances techno-management props and articles which were adding a chic appearance to campus. Around 60 events were scheduled in the campus for the three days. Students were enthusiastically preparing for the events such as art, dance, music, programming, gaming, sports, quiz, adventure etc. Events like Ringos, Risky Handling, Hunarbaz, Blast the Ballons, 1Min Gol-Gappa, Flirt With Knife, Bollywood ke Dramebaz, The Treasure Hunt Game, Snakes and Ladders, Stand up Comedy and games such as Quizziteria, PS5 FIFA Tournament, were organized under techno management fest in various blocks all over the university. Symphony; vocal and instrumental music program was conducted in the major auditorium at noon in which mesmerized the audience. Accord; the band competition was programmed on the first day of Moonstone in the evening. The alumni of Medi-Caps Shivangi and Yudhveer offered a rocking performance of their team/ band Nokia, the band; FT. SHIVYUDH which created an awesome hype for the rest of the days to come. The splendid events throughout the day garnered the young energy and enthusiasm for the rest of the event.

2nd IEEE IC4

The faculty of Engineering conducted the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Computer, Communication and Control (IC4-2024) at Medicaps University in Indore. The event commenced with a warm welcome to all the guests, including the chief guest, Shri Asheesh Singh, participants, keynote speakers, and the entire Medicaps family. The esteemed presence of the Chancellor, Shri R.C. Mittal, and Vice Chancellor, Dr. D.K. Patnaik, added to the auspicious atmosphere.

The inauguration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the Medicaps anthem. Dr. Pramod Nair, Dean of Engineering, addressed the conference, and Vice Chancellor Dr. D.K. Patnaik shared his insights. The official declaration of the conference opening was made by Chancellor Shri R.C. Mittal. The chief guest, Shri Asheesh Singh, honoured the occasion with words of encouragement for the attendees.

A significant milestone during the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Medicaps University, Indore, and INTI International University in Nilai, Malaysia. With this, the inauguration ceremony concluded, and the guests proceeded to enjoy breakfast.

Following breakfast, the conference featured a keynote address by Dr. Deshinta Arrova Dewi, Associate Professor at INTI International University, Nilai, Malaysia. Dr. Dewi presented an interesting session on Nature inspired Algorithms for optimization.
