Students of the department actively participated in the competitions held in various other reputed institutes and have won prizes. The details are as given below

Student Achievements Reports (Team & Individuals) 2017-18

    ·         The student of MU Mr. Hyder Shah from ME-2nd year has Secured Second Place in 81 Kg. weights Class (Squat-160 Kg, Bench-105 Kg & Deadlift-205Kg) in Inter Division (Indore-Ujjain) Power Lifting Championship Under the aegis of M.P. Power Lifting Association organized by Indore Corporation Power Lifting Association held at Shri Ram Group Campus Indore on 10th March-2018.

     

    IDCA (Vikrant Trophy) Cricket Tournament Report:-

    ·         Medi-Caps University (MU Cricket Club) participated in “Vikrant Trophy 2018” in association with Indore Divisional Cricket Association B Grade Plate Group T-20 Tournament from 11th to 24th February-2018. Total 24 Teams from Indore Region participated in this tournament. Final Match played against Medi-Caps Cricket Club & MYCC Cricket Club, MYCC Won the tournament by 6 wickets.  Shri Narendra Rathore (Vice President), Shri Amitabh Vijayvergiya (Secretary, General), Shri Subodh Gupta (Treasurer) and Members of Vikrant Group of Institution distributed Trophy & Medals to all the Winners & Runners on the Closing Ceremony.

     

    • The Medi-Caps University Football team Played up to Semifinal Round in Runbhoomi tournament held at IIM Indore from 19th to 21st January-2018.

     

    • The Student of MU Mr. Shayank Verma from Civil-2nd year has Secured Winner Position in Brig. Kale, All India Open Football tournament on Last week of January-2018 held at Mhow and also represented in Late. Prakash Sonkar Memorial, All India open Invitation Football tournament on IInd week of December-2018 held at Indore.

     

    • The students of MITM Mr. Shivansh Singh from EC 3rd year have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Hockey” Tournament organized by CDGI College Indore on 13th December 2017. Mr. Shivansh Singh has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at Millennium Institute Bhopal from 18th & 19th December 2017.

     

    • The students of Medi-caps Group of Institutions (MITM & MIST) have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Football” Tournament organized by MIT College Indore from 8th to 10th December-2017. The MIST (Boys) Team played up to Semifinal Round among 22 Teams. Mr. Jashpreet Singh IT-4th Year MIST has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at IES College Bhopal from 13th & 14th December 2017.

     

    • Mr. Kuldeep Satodiya from ME- 4th has been represented in Madhya Pradesh Amateur Sports tournament in Cricket game and his team Secured Winner position in this State level tournament 2017-18. He has also selected for National level tournament held at dehradun government in the month of December-2017.

     

     

     

     

    • The students of Medi-caps Group of Institutions (MITM & MIST) have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Badminton” Tournament organized by SGSITS Indore from 19th to 22nd November 2017. The MITM (Boys) Team has Secured Fourth Position among 19 Teams. Mr. Shirish Tiwari ME-3rd Year MITM has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at SATI Vidisha from 28th to 29th November 2017.

     

    • The Student of Medi-Caps, Mr. Ashwin Mulatkar from CS- 3rd year has taken part in 3rd ISKO National Karate Championship-2017 at Usharaje Parisar, Usha Nagar Ext. opp. Ranjeet Hanuman Mandir Indore on 5th November-17 and Got Third Place in Kata, Second place in Kumite, Second place in Team Kata 19 Age Category.

     

    • The Medi-caps Group of Institutions (MITM) has taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Tennis” Tournament organized by Medi-Caps Indore on 4th October-2017. The MITM (Boys) team has Secured Runner Position among 8 teams. Mr. Prateek Deshmukh from 3rd year EC has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at IPS College Gwalior form 11th & 12th October 2017.

     

    • The students of Medi-caps Group of Institutions have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Swimming” Competition organized by Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore on 3rd October 2017. The MIST (Boys) Team has Secured “Runner” Position among 14 Teams. Mr. Rohitash Dubey from 4th year, Automobile Eng. MIST (Won 1 Gold Medal in Free Style), Mr. Atharv Agrawal from 4th year Civil Eng. MIST (Won 1 Gold in High Board & 1 Gold in 3 Meter Spring Board),  Mr. Manan Chandna from 3rd year Computer Sc. MIST (Won 1 Gold & 2 Silver in Breast Stroke) & Ms. Anam Agrawal from 3rd year ME, MITM (Won 1 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze Medal in Free Style) has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Swimming Competition held at RGPM Bhopal on 13th October 2017.

     

    • The Medi-caps Group of Institutions (MITM & MIST) have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Basketball” Tournament organized by Sanghavi Institute of Management & Science, Indore from 25th to 27th September-2017. The MIST (Boys) team has Secured Fourth Position among 18 teams. Mr. Dhanardha Rajwade from 3rd year Civil has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at MIT Gwalior form 6th to 7th October 2017.

     

    • The students of Medi-caps Group of Institutions (MITM & MIST) have taken part in RGPV Indore Nodal “Chess” Tournament organized by Medi-Caps Indore from 14th & 15th September 2017. The MITM (Boys) team has Secured Fifth Position among 18 Teams. Mr. Sagar Medatwal EC-3rd Year MITM has been selected for Indore Nodal RGPV State Level Tournament held at Takshashila Institute Jabalpur from 10th & 11th October 2017.

     

    • Medi-Caps Sports players has participated in various open State/National level tournaments like, Basketball, Handball, Football, Power Lifting, Best Physic, Volleyball Judo, Karate & Kabaddi  in the session 2017-18.

     

     

     

     

     

    Medi-Caps University organized some Sports Tournament and Workshop 2017-18

    Medi-Caps Challengers Trophy Report:-

    • Medi-Caps University (Sports Club) Successfully Organized “Medi-Caps Challengers Trophy” like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket & Football Games from 6th to 12th February 2018. Total 35 Teams from Indore district participated in this tournament. Dr. Pradumn Yadav (The Registrar), Dr. Nitika Vats Doohan (Prof. Incharge Sports) and Members Sports Club Prof. Ruchir Lashkari, Prof. Gourav Manjrekar & Mr. Sukhdev Bamboriya (Sports officer) distributed Trophy & Medals to all the Winners & Runners on the Closing Ceremony.

    Prof. Amit Sharma, Prof. Gourav Patel, Prof. Ravi Patel, & Prof, Suryakant Soni, were present on the Opening and Closing Ceremony.

     

    IDCA “Medi-Caps Trophy” Report:-

    • Medi-Caps University (MU Cricket Club) Successfully Organized “Medi-Caps Trophy” in association with Indore Divisional Cricket Association B Grade Plate Group T-20 Tournament from 10th to 26th January 2018. Total 30 Teams from Indore Region participated in this tournament. Final Match played against Medi-Caps Club & Vidhya Sagar Cricket Club, Medi-Caps Cricket Club Won the tournament by 72 Runs.  Shri R. C. Mittal (Hon’ble Chancellor) introduced players in Final Match. Dr. Sunil K. Somani (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor), Dr. D. K. Panda (Dean Engg.), Dr. Pradumn Yadav (The Registrar), Dr. Nitika Vats Doohan (Prof. Incharge Sports) and IDCA Members Shri Narendra Rathore (Vice President), Shri Devashish Nilose (Central Custom Excise & Played MP Runji Team), Shri Subodh Gupta (Treasurer) & Shri Parmar Ji (Runji Player) distributed Trophy & Medals to all the Winners & Runners on the Closing Ceremony.

    Members of MU Cricket Club, Prof. Ruchir Lashkari (Treasurer, MU Cricket Club), Prof. Amit Sharma, Prof. Gourav Patel, Prof. Ravi Patel, Prof. Gourav Manjrekar, Prof, Suryakant Soni, Mr. Ashish Nirwan and Mr. Sukhdev Bamboriya (Secretary, MU Cricket Club & Sports officer) were present on the Opening and Closing Ceremony.

     

    Lupin, Force & BatchMaster Corporate Sports League:-

    ·         This Year University, Sports Department has started Corporate Sports League in Association with Training and Placement Department for Strong relation with companies and HR to student placement. Companies are playing Cricket and other Games in our premises from December-2017 to March-2018.

     

    Swimming Workshop Report:-

    Medi-Caps University “SPORTS CLUB” has conducted successfully Two Days Workshop/Demo on Swimming at Medi-Caps International School on 22nd & 23rd November 2017. More than 80 Boys & Girls (First Day for Boys and Second Day for Girls) attended the workshop and came forward to learn Aquatics/Swimming techniques.

    The workshop demonstrated in Water by trainer Mr. Akhtar Husain Quraishi (Former, Railway Police and Member of India’s Got Talent Audition).

     

    RGPV Baseball Selection Trials Report:-

    • Medi-Caps Group of Institutions has also conducted the RGPV, Inter Nodal Level Inter Collegiate Baseball (Boys) Selection Trials on 3rd November-2017. 30 players from different institute were part of the selection trials. Dr. Nitika Vats (Prof. Incharge, Sports), Sukhdev Bamboriya (Sports officer), Members of District Baseball Association, Nodal officer (Indore Nodal Sports Center) and other Colleges Sports officers were present on the Selection Trials.

     

     

    Run for Unity under the Banner of MHRD New Dehli:-

    ·         Medi-Caps University has successfully organized “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” birth anniversary on 31st October-2017 in our premises under the auspicious of MHRD government of India. Students taken Oth for “National Unity” and is given by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sunil K. Somani. University Staff & Students completed “Run for Unity” marathon from Medi-Caps Campus to Police Line and Back. Col. P. Mazumdar (The Registrar), Dr. Nitika Vats Doohan (Prof. Incharge Sports), Prof. Amit Sharma (Hostel Warden), Shri B.K. Saxena (Security officer) & Mr. Sukhdev Bamboriya (Sports officer) were present on this occasion.

     

    NIRBHAYA Self-Defense Workshop Report:-

    ·         Medi-Caps University “SPORTS CLUB” has successfully organized One Day “NIRBHAYA” Self-Defense workshop in association with IIT Bombay on 24th October-2017. Self confidence is the first requisite to grate undertaking with realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world. The self-defense workshop “NIRBHAYA” saw great participation and enthusiasm of girls of Medi-Caps University, more than 100 girls attended the workshop and came forward to learn self-defense techniques.

    The workshop started off with the Enlighting words of Col. P. Mazumdar (The Registrar) and a power pact introduction by Ms. Purnima Bise the Chief Guest and trainer for the day Mr. Mehmud Khan, Mr. Rohit Padiyar & Mr. Amit Mane members of Madhya Pradesh Judo and Karate Association accompanied her.

     

    Tennis Tournament Report:-

    • Medi-Caps Group of Institutions has also conducted the RGPV, Inter Nodal Level Inter Collegiate Tennis (Boys & Girls) Tournament on 4th October-2017. 08 teams for Boys & 4 teams for girls of Different colleges were participated in the event. Dr. Sunil K. Somani (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) & Col. P. Mazumdar (The Registrar) was guest in the Opening ceremony.

    Boys Section First Position Secured SGSITS College and Second Position Secured Medi-Caps College & Girls Section First Position Secured SGSITS College and Second Position Secured MIT College Indore.

    Dr. Nitika Vats (Prof. Incharge, Sports) was Chief Guest on Closing Ceremony and Sukhdev Bamboriya (Sports officer) and other Colleges Sports officers were present on the closing ceremony.

     

    Chess Tournament Report:-

    • Medi-Caps Group of Institutions has also conducted the RGPV, Inter Nodal Level Inter Collegiate Chess (Boys & Girls) Tournament on 14th & 15th September-2017. 16 teams for Boys & 8 teams for girls of Different colleges were participated in the event. Dr. Sunil K. Somani (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) & Col. P. Mazumdar (The Registrar) was guest in the Opening ceremony.

     Boys Section First Position Secured SGSITS College with 28 Points and Second Position Secured Prestige College with 23 Points.

    Girls Section First Position Secured Acropolise-1 College with 23 Points and Second Position Secured SGSITS College with 17 Points. 

    Dr. D.K. Panda was Chief Guest on Closing Ceremony and Dr. Nitika Vats (Prof. Incharge, Sports), Sukhdev Bamboriya (Sports officer), Nodal officer (Indore Nodal Sports Center) and other Colleges Sports officers were present on the closing ceremony.
