Republic day 2018 at Medi-Caps University
The whole Medi-Caps family was present for the 68th Republic Day, which was celebrated in the Medi-Caps University Campus with great patriotism and fervor. The function started with unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the welcome speech by the Vice-Chancellor Dr Sunil K Somani. In his speech, he mentioned the achievements since Medi-Caps turned into a University. His highlights were the full quota of seats filled in all programmes, the exams and the timely results. He applauded the hard work put in by all to achieve these. He also stated that the goal of Medi-Caps University is to make a mark nation-wide after setting itself as the best in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The members of the Governing Council also graced the occasion with their presence. Other than the Deans, the Training and Placement officer and the Registrar also spoke about the contribution of good education in shaping a nation. The Programme ended with the speech by the Honorable Chancellor who congratulated the Vice-Chancellor and his team for bringing Medi-Caps University at this pedestal and that the long way has already started. He specially pointed out the importance of hard work and sincerity in way of building a strong image.
Janmashtami Celebration in the Hostel
India is known for its rich cultural heritage and aesthetic values. People of India celebrate every festival with full zest and energy. This spirit remains same even if they are away from their home. Keeping this in mind hostellers of Medi-Caps University celebrated Janmashtami Utsav. The programme started in the evening with the worship of Lord Krishna. After this Handi Phod competition was organized by the hostellers where boys showed their strength and unity in breaking the Matki and winning the competition, the girls also graced the occasion in their colorful costumes and wonderful dance performance. Later in the evening all the hostellers danced on the rhythm of DJ. At midnight every one gathered for Sri Krishna Janm and performed pooja. The whole celebration finally ended at 12.30 am with the distribution of prasad.
Blood Donation on Teachers Day Celebration
As a mark of respect to the nation builders, the complete family of Medi-Caps University celebrated Teachers day with great enthusiasm. Students from each department organized various functions to show their love and respect for teachers. Teachers were given floral welcome and various games were arranged for them. On this special day, a blood donation camp was organized successfully in the MCA Department where more than 400 units were collected. The small efforts by the students for their beloved teachers developed a strong bond between them and made the day very unique for them.
In the festive season of Navratra on 08th Oct 2017 dandiya night was organised at Medi-Caps Group of Institutions. The event began at 6:00 p.m. by worshipping Goddess Durga and performing Aarti. After that the Dandiya Night 2k17 was declared open.The students were amused to dance and did not miss a single second to rock on the beats of Dandiya. The prizes for the best dress in male and female were awarded. The whole event got over at around 10:30 p.m. The event was a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
Teachers Day Celebration
Like every year Medi-Caps University and its students organized 'Teacher's Day' celebration on Monday, September 05, 2017, in its the va Universityrious institutions.
The same was observed on 5th September 2017 in the auditorium where 3rd year Mechanical Engineering students made it a red letter day for teachers. The celebration started with amazing skit where students gave message of importance of education and teachers in one's life. The students then were bestowed with the invaluable speech of Dr. S K Somani, Director, MITM and Dr K S Verma , most senior and revered faculty of Mechanical engineering Dept. This all was accomplished by mesmerizing songs, and inspirational poems which kept the audience to their seats. Finally the event concluded with the serving of high tea.
Teachers were requested to present in traditional Indian outfits / style and were welcomed by students of MBA Program by applying Tilak on their forehead. All the students were dressed up in retro theme.The main attraction of the whole program was 'Medifare Awards' in which each and every teacher of MBA department was awarded by titles, presented by the students as an honor. Each and every student actively participated to make this event a successful one. Many cultural programs such as poems, dance, songs, skits and management games were also organized for recreation of teachers. The session concluded with lunch. As a part of social responsibility a Blood Donation Camp was also organized on Teachers Day wherein students and teachers of Management Institute donated their blood. A team from Blood Bank of M.Y. Hospital was invited for collection of Blood. Thus it was a memorable moment for students and teachers. At the same the other departments of MIST viz. EX, CS, EC, IT also celebrated with amazing skit where students gave message of importance of education and teachers in one's life.The same flair with gusto was witnessed among the students of different branches for their teachers in MITM. Thus, apart from the fun aspect of the day it is also a day when one can look back, admire and get inspired by our teachers. It's always said "A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others". Teachers mold the lives that they influence because the lessons learned from teachers remain with their students throughout life.
Teacher's day celebration in electrical department
As an effort to salute the spirit of tireless teaching and to appreciate the hard work that goes into teaching engineering students, EX III year (MITM) students arranged a small gathering for all teachers of the department within college hours.
As the classroom took the shape of a fun filled place for everyone, teachers shared the joys of teaching with students and also described the feeling of pride which fills them when their students succeed. Few musical performances and standup comic acts entertained the audience.
The program concluded by the students thanking all teachers for being an integral part of their college lives.
